BitHuman has unveiled what it calls lifelike AI agents for use in enterprises.

The San Francisco company said the debut is like a sci-fi dream turned reality, where lifelike AI agents deliver a touch of humanity to enterprise scenarios.

BitHuman is pioneering a new horizon in the AI landscape, boasting agents tailored for the enterprise realm. Their forte lies in crafting comprehensive AI solutions, facilitating real-time, photorealistic, human-like experiences across sectors such as hospitality, fashion, retail, healthcare, and beyond.

Steve Gu, the CEO of BitHuman, said in a statement, “We’re crafting interactive AI capable of addressing diverse business needs, offering swift solutions, and most importantly, infusing a delightful human essence into interactions.”

The brain behind this tech is Raymond Fu, chief scientist and distinguished professor of AI at Northeastern University. In a statement, he highlighted the ambition to create an AI-powered entity that is virtually indistinguishable from a human.

“Real-time interactive AI promises deeper, more engaging connections between users and agents,” he said.

With former employees from Meta, Microsoft, Amazon, and Gots Helm, BitHuman said it has a stellar team. They include veteran entrepreneur Gu, Fu, and Efe Akengin, Nabil Mansouri, and Antonio Marcato.

    Focusing on the business impact

    BitHuman isn’t just redefining interactions.

“Our technology offers a glimpse into the future where human-AI interactions are everyday occurrences,” said Gu. Interactive characters adept at mimicking human intelligence offer solutions across various domains, he said. The potential includes personal shopping assistants, HR associates and more.

BitHuman’s platform is rolling out three distinct AI Service Agent products. Neo, a versatile service AI, adapts to a company’s ethos. One functions as a wellness agent, while Eon acts as a digital reflection, personalized to emulate users.

Deployments featuring Neo agents are already making waves at Panorama Tower in Miami. Nabil Mansouri notes the exponential growth and heightened customer satisfaction this innovation has ushered in.

BitHuman is rapidly expanding its team, with eyes set on showcasing its prowess at the National Retail Federation (NRF) Show in 2024.
