If you’re looking to create a 1-to-many campaign for a go-to-market (GTM) or marketing-based advertising campaign, you can easily do so using the platform’s Persona feature. This will allow you to sort your contacts by the staff of their adoption curve (innovators, early adopters, late adopters, etc.) and the percentage distribution of each, making it easier to tailor your marketing efforts by segment strategically. Plus, you’ll also see each persona’s key archetypes and persuasion angles, so you can develop messages that resonate more with your target audience and are therefore more likely to engage and convert.
Step 1: Log into the Wrench platform and click on “Personas” in the left navigation.
Step 2: Click on “Run Persona Service”
This step may take a few seconds to complete.
Step 3: View your staff breakdown by percentage
After loading your staff data, you’ll see a pie chart with percentages, allowing you to see how your contacts fit on the adoption curve.
Step 4: Learn about what makes your staff tick
Hover your mouse over each persona to learn more about each archetype and key characteristics that will inform how you begin to shape your messaging for each.
Step 5: Click on a specific staff member to learn more
In the staff navigation, click on a specific personal profile to get more information, including suggestions for your marketing and sales strategies, recommendations for how to reach them, and what to avoid.
Step 6: Create content for a specific persona
At the bottom of the personal profile page, you will find a content creation section where you can generate messages.
- Campaign: Select the type of content you want to generate (example: Cold outreach).
- Type: Select the content format (example: email).
- Purpose: Choose the call to action you want to include in your content type (example: “Learn more”).
Click “Generate” to generate your content. At the bottom of your content are the following options: Re-generate more content if you don’t like the first round, Copy content to embed elsewhere, Save content to your account for later access, Thumbs down. Teach the model that the content was not appropriate.
You’ll most likely need to edit your copy to make sure you’re using the right tone for your brand and audience. If you make your edits in the text window, your final copy will be saved to your account and you can access it again or reuse it for another campaign.
As you move this persona audience through the buyer’s journey, continue to use the content generator to create 1-to-many messages as you move from cold contact to nurture, and ultimately engagement and beyond.
